Your role
As our BDR, you are the engine of our pipeline. You are the first point of contact for potential customers, the person who opens doors, sparks curiosity, and gets the right people into a conversation with our Account Executives.
This is not a role where you’ll read from a script. You’ll work directly with our founders and Head of Sales to shape our outreach strategy, find the best way to reach startups and SMEs across DACH and Europe, and help us build something from the ground up.
What You Will Do
Prospecting & Outbound
Research and identify target accounts that match our ICP across DACH and Europe
Execute high-volume outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone
Use automation and AI tools to scale personalized outreach without losing quality
Continuously test and iterate on messaging, sequences, and channels
Lead Qualification & Handoff
Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on fit, need, and timing
Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand AWS spend and pain points
Book qualified meetings for our Account Executives and ensure smooth handoffs
Keep CRM data clean and up to date at all times
AWS Ecosystem
Build relationships with AWS Startup and GTM teams to generate referral pipeline
Become a trusted point of contact for AWS field teams looking to help their customers save
What you bring
Required
First experience in a customer-facing or sales role — BDR, SDR, inside sales, or similar
You love talking to people and are not afraid of cold outreach
Resilient, self-motivated, and hungry to prove yourself
Clear and confident communicator in writing and on the phone
Fluent in both German and English (both required)
Nice to Have
Experience at AWS, an AWS partner, MSP, or cloud-adjacent company
Familiarity with tools like Clay, Apollo, HubSpot, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Any exposure to cloud, SaaS, or infrastructure topics
