Your role
We’re looking for a “Super Assistant” to be the backbone of Blocks’ operations and culture. This role combines HR, office management, accounting coordination, and executive support into one pivotal position. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
EA to Oliver & Andreas: Trusted gatekeeper
Manage and prioritize Founders’ calendar, travel, and meetings
Handle correspondence and communication on behalf of the Founders
Anticipate needs, follow up on action items, and keep projects moving
Office Culture: Ensure the office runs smoothly and is a place people love to work
Be the “culture champion” - organize weekly team lunches, social events, and celebrations
Organize and run day-to-day office operations (supplies, equipment, logistics,)
Create a welcoming environment for our employees (and guests)
Travel: Find the best travel options and keep a grip on travel expenses
Handle travel arrangements and bookings
Collect, check and submit travel expense reports
Admin
Collect, prepare, and submit invoices, receipts, and expense reports
Support hiring process, candidate coordination and onboarding
What you bring
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication (German & English preferred)
Experience working closely with founders, executives, or leadership teams
High ownership: you don’t wait for tasks, you create clarity and move things forward
Comfortable with tools like Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, scheduling & basic finance tools
A service mindset with entrepreneurial energy … you care about impact, not job titles
